Joining early years
Welcome to Early Years at Bromham CofE Primary School
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions that parents have to make. Our first priority is to get to know you and your child – our task is to build on the many strengths your child has already. We know that children love to learn, and we look forward to discovering what makes your child extraordinary.
In our school we pride ourselves on the happy and stimulating environment in which children enjoy learning and are encouraged to do their best. We aim to educate ‘the whole child’ as we recognise the importance of developing social skills and an understanding of other people as well as high academic standards. We know that we achieve the best for your child by building a ‘working partnership’ with parents. We encourage you to be closely involved with your childs learning through regular communication and opportunities to come and share experiences with your child.
Bedford Borough Council operates a predominantly two tier system of education. Children are normally admitted to Primary school at the start of or during the Reception year (Early Years), that is the school year in which they become 5.

Once you receive your offer of a place at our school we will send you our welcome leaflet which invites you and your child into school for a variety of different sessions during the second half of the Summer term.
